Meghan Markle’s Best Friend Shares ‘Intimate’ Snap Of Duchess, Then Deletes It
Meghan Markle’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney, recently paid tribute to the Duchess of Sussex on her 37th birthday.
Mulroney posted an intimate photo of herself with Markle on her Instagram account. But just a few minutes later, Mulroney decided to delete her post. Before deleting the picture, Mulroney’s followers revealed that she uploaded a black and white snap of the two of them. In her caption, Mulroney called Markle her favorite birthday girl.
As of late, it is still unclear why Mulroney decided to delete her and Markle’s photo from her social media account. Isabella Sullivan, a journalist for Express, said that it is possible Mulroney took the photo down because Markle was wearing a strappy dress in the picture.
There are no rules about friends and family members of royals not being allowed to post photos of them on social media. However, Markle and other working royals are not allowed to have their own Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other similar personal accounts.
In related news, this wasn’t the first time that Mulroney uploaded a photo of Markle on her Instagram account. In May, she posted a snap of Prince Harry’s wife in her white wedding dress ascending the steps to St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Mulroney captioned her post with, “Proud friend. Proud mom.”
Also featured in the same photo were Mulroney’s 7-year-old twin sons Brian and John.
In May, Katie Nicholl talked about Markle and Mulroney’s friendship and said that the Duchess of Sussex loved the fact that she could trust the stylist. Other than keeping Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship a secret from the media, Mulroney also played a crucial role in helping her friend choose her royal wedding dress.
“She helped Meghan choose the dress designer and is helping with all the details of the wedding planning behind the scenes,” Nicholl told Cosmopolitan.
