Since her relationship with Prince Harry was revealed just over one year ago, Meghan Markle has been in the spotlight, but the attention she’s received has only heignted since announcing her engagement to the British royal in November.
From Christmas morning church visits, or royal engagements, here’s a look at six of the former “Suits” star’s best looks of 2017 sure to rival even future sister-in-law Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s top fashion moments of the year.
Meghan Markle fit perfectly into the royal family with her Sentaler camel-colored coat and Philip Treacy hat while attending a service at St Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham, Norfolk, eastern England, on Christmas Day. She finished off her look with coordinating gloves and suede boots.
Markle stunned alongside Prince Harry in their engagement pictures. The images showed the former actress sporting a courture, floor-length Ralph & Russo gown detailed with feathers, black mesh and an organza skirt.
During her first royal outing, Markle chose to coordinate with her future husband and sport a navy Mackage military coat.
Markle looked the part of a future royal during her visit to Nottingham Academy in central England with Prince Harry on Dec. 1. Markle wore a black turtleneck from the brand Wolford tucked into a long, khaki skirt from the British brand Joseph to the event. She finished her ensemble with a skinny, black belt.
The white coat Markle wore to her and Prince Harry’s engagement announcement at Kensington Palace’s Sunken Gardens on Nov. 27 screams future bride. She paired her knee-length overcoat from LINE, a Canadian label, with tan shoes from Aquazzura.
Before learning she was to become a future member of Britain’s royal family, Markle dressed down during a September outing with Prince Harry. To the event, she wore a white button-down top, tan flats, jeans that featured a hole in the knee and dark sunglasses.
