Meghan Markle is constantly being criticized for every single thing that she does. In fact, a royal expert previously said that what the Duchess of Sussex is experiencing may be considered as a form of bullying.

Several years ago, while Prince Harry’s wife was still in school, she also experienced the same thing. The “Suits” alum detailed her brutal experience on her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

“My 20s were brutal – a constant battle with myself, judging my weight, my style, my desire to be as cool/ as hip/ as smart/ as ‘whatever’ as everyone else. My teens were even worse – grappling with how to fit in, and what that even meant... My high school had cliques: the black girls and white girls, the Filipino and Latina girls… Being biracial, I fell somewhere in between,” she said.

In order to cope with her time in school, Markle decided to keep herself busy with every activity or event that she could possibly take part in. This way, she wouldn’t have to eat by herself. And while she was struggling with her school life, Markle was also having a hard time dealing with the issues of her family.

At a young age, the Duchess of Sussex’s parents separated. She stayed with her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., because her mom, Doria Ragland, had to work. However, the unique setup never stopped Markle from forging a close bond with Ragland.

During an interview with royal author Andrew Morton, Markle’s teacher, Christine Knudsen, said that Ragland and Thomas’ split affected the Duchess of Sussex tremendously. But even thru all of these things, it cannot be denied that Markle was considered as one of the most popular girls in her school.

At present, Markle is experiencing the same struggles now that she’s a member of the royal family. She is constantly being criticized by the public. And her every single decision is being slammed by critics. But amid all of these things, Markle is still standing strong.
