Meghan Markle’s Dad Thomas Claims Royal Life ‘Terrifies’ Duchess Of Sussex

Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., recently claimed that his daughter is terrified of his new life as a member of the royal family.

During a recent interview, Thomas said that the royal family is putting so much pressure on the “Suits” alum especially since they have become outdated.

“My thing about my daughter right now is that I think she is terrified. I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now. This one isn’t even a stage smile – this is a pained smile. That might be just having a couple of bad days. I don’t know. It really worries me. I think she’s under too much pressure. There’s a high price to pay to be married to that family,” he said.

Thomas also talked about his daughter’s clothes and how his style changed ever since he became part of Prince Harry’s British clan.

“Meghan seems like something out of an old movie. When in 2018 are we dressing like the 1930s? Why do they have to cover their knees?” he questioned.

In related news, Thomas doesn’t seem to have a good relationship with Prince Harry’s side of the family. After all, it was revealed that he staged some fake photos before the royal wedding. He was also invited to his daughter’s big day, but he missed it after undergoing heart surgery.

But even though he thinks he’s being frozen by the royal family, Thomas acknowledged the fact that his struggles are not compared to what his daughter is experiencing.

“I think Meghan is in deeper than I am. I’m not blaming Harry or anyone but they are following rules that don’t make sense to me. They are no less human than anybody else. God knows, I feel sorry for them, for not being able to show emotion. The reason I am being shunned is because I made a profit of the staged pictures. Anyone who makes a profit off the royal family becomes shunned,” he said.
