Meghan Markle’s Dad Thomas Markle Spotted Grabbing Italian Takeout In Mexico

Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle, was recently spotted grabbing some Italian takeout in Mexico.

The 73-year-old Hollywood lighting director ordered two portions of spaghetti Bolognese with a side of meatballs. He was also seen sipping on a complimentary glass of red wine while waiting for his order.

After getting his order from the restaurant, Thomas went straight to the drugstore to buy bottles of water, cigarettes, and beer. Meghan’s dad has been living in Mexico by himself for the past couple of years.

Thomas’ sighting came around the same time that Meghan was at the Royal Foundation forum in London with Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William. During her speech, Meghan mentioned the Time’s Up movements, as well as the MeToo campaign.

“I hear a lot of people speaking about girls’ empowerment and women’s empowerment you will hear people saying they are helping women find their voices. I fundamentally disagree with that because women don’t need to find their voices, they need to be empowered to use it and people need to be urged to listen,” she said.

Meanwhile, Meghan and her dad have a good relationship with each other. Two years ago, the former “Suits” star opened up about being bi-racial and said that her dad taught her a thing or two about loving her African and American roots.

“When I was about seven, I had been fawning over a boxed set of Barbie dolls. It was called The Heart Family and included a mom doll, a dad doll, and two children. This perfect nuclear family was only sold in sets of white dolls or black dolls. I don’t remember coveting one over the other, I just wanted on. On Christmas morning, swathed in glitter-flecked wrapping paper, there I found my Heart Family: a black mom doll, a white dad doll, and a child in each color. My dad had taken the sets apart and customized my family,” she told Elle UK.
