Meghan Markle’s First Baby Photo With Mom Released Ahead Of Child’s Birth

Meghan Markle’s first baby photo with her mom, Doria Ragland, has just been unearthed days ahead of her child’s birth.

The snap was shared by the Duchess of Sussex’s uncle Joseph Johnson to Daily Mail. In the picture, Ragland is cradling Markle in her arms and she has a shocked expression on her face. Markle, who has just been born for a couple of hours sits comfortably on her mom’s lap.

In the photo, Markle’s resemblance to her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., cannot be denied. Her skin looks fair and her hair also looks quite blonde. She is also wearing a mint green dress and diaper.

Several other photos of the Duchess of Sussex have also been released today. In one of the pictures, a baby Markle is lying on the bed in her Life Begins onesie. Another adorable photo shows the “Suits” alum learning how to walk with the assistance of her mom.

A fourth snap shows Ragland gleefully looking at her daughter while Markle’s grandmother looks on. Granny Jeannette also has another photo of Markle. In the picture, Markle’s grandmother places her hand on Markle’s back.

Another picture shows Markle looking intently at her mom who is wrapped in just a towel.

“I think this is a good time for the world to see the other side of Meghan’s family – the positive side, not the degenerative side – and for them to be part of her story,” Johnson said.

Markle’s proud uncle also praised his niece and Prince Harry for breaking royal tradition following their decision to keep details of Baby Sussex’s birth private. Johnson also believes that Markle is secretly hoping to have a baby girl because having a baby boy could present more challenges to her.

Johnson is Ragland’s half-brother because they have different fathers but share the same mother. He has another sibling named Saundra and all three siblings were raised together by their mom in Ohio.
