Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. recently penned a letter to the Duchess of Sussex. He admitted to being a bad brother to his half-sister and being a bad son to their dad, Thomas Markle Sr.

Thomas Jr. revealed that he recently spoke with their dad to ask for an apology for saying bad things about Prince Harry’s wife during his interview. He said that he decided to write his letter before it’s too late.

“I’ve had no business making things worse between him, Meghan and Harry and I want us all but especially them to be a proper family and reconcile. I hope Meghan gets in contact but my dad needs to prepare himself for it never happening. She did not get in contact after his heart attack,” Thomas Jr. wrote.

Markle’s half-brother went on to subtly throw shade at the Duchess of Sussex. She said that she is only a part of the royal family because of their 75-year-old father.

“But what she needs to remember is that she is only in Buckingham Palace with Harry because of her dad. He paid for her education and fancy clothes. He helped her become the exceptional woman she is and I beg her to recognize that,” he said.

In the past, Thomas Sr. also said that it was he who sent Markle to school. During a previous interview, the “Suits” proudly declared that she sent herself to school as though to suggest that no one else helped her.

Earlier this month, Prince Harry and Markle filed a lawsuit against British tabloids for publishing the latter’s letters to her dad. The private letters were made public after Thomas shared them in an attempt to defend himself.

Markle and Thomas Sr.’s falling out started after the latter posed for a series of fake photographs ahead of his daughter’s royal wedding. The former lighting director has also criticized his favorite daughter during his interviews.
