Meghan Markle’s ‘Nemesis’ Defends Duchess Amid Claims She Didn’t Carry Archie Properly
Meghan Markle’s nemesis, Piers Morgan, just defended the Duchess of Sussex amid criticisms that suggest she doesn’t know how to carry her son properly.
In an article he wrote for Daily Mail, the “Good Morning Britain” host said that a surprising pang of sympathy welled up in him after he saw how the Duchess of Sussex was criticized by royal watchers.
Markle watched Prince Harry’s polo match this week, and she took Archie with her during the outing. The “Suits” alum appeared to incorrectly carry her 2-month-old bundle of joy because she placed her arm around Archie’s neck the entire time.
“She’s only been a mother for a few weeks. It takes time, and a lot of trial and error, to get familiar with how to comfortably take care of a baby,” Morgan said.
But even though Morgan felt bad for Markle, he attempted to justify why he has been saying negative things about Prince Harry’s wife during his interviews. He said that Markle has been committing a lot of mistakes ever since she joined the royal family.
“It’s not easy marrying into the Royals, as we saw with Fergie, Duchess of York, and Princess Diana. Your life changes dramatically, and the attention of your every move becomes incredibly intense,” he said.
Morgan added that Markle needs some help on how to make a smooth transition from her non-royal to her royal life. One of his tips for the Duchess of Sussex is to stop bleating about privacy. He also encouraged Markle to share basic information about her life.
According to the television host, Markle should also stop showing off, and she should also avoid being a hypocrite. Morgan also encouraged Markle to make peace with Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Sussexes are still being rumored to be feuding with the Cambridges.
Morgan started criticizing Markle last year after he claimed that the “Suits” alum ghosted him after she met Prince Harry.
