Meghan Markle’s nephew, Tyler Dooley, recently said that he doesn’t want to be lumped together with the other members of their family.

While speaking with Daily Star, Dooley said that he has not spoken to his aunt Samantha Markle for the past 10 years. The reality TV star added that since he has not spoken to his controversial aunt, the press and royal fans shouldn’t relate him so much to the book author.

“I have been portrayed in a negative light because of the actions of some people in my family but that’s not me. I haven’t spoken to Samantha and the people who are being negative in the media for over 10 years,” he said.

Unfortunately for the “Royal World” star, he is still a Markle and is being connected to the other members of his family who have spoken negatively about the Duchess of Sussex.

Dooley is the son of Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. He is the nephew of Prince Harry’s wife and Samantha, and the grandson of Markle’s dad Thomas Markle Sr. Just recently, Thomas Jr. and Samantha slammed the “Suits” alum for not reaching out to their dad.

Samantha has been very vocal about her criticisms for her half-sister via her Twitter account. She recently slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after Kensington Palace released their Christmas card photo. In the snap, the royal couple’s backs are turned towards the camera.

The book author said that the photo is not a good way of connecting to the public because Prince Harry and Markle shouldn’t have turned their backs away from their supporters.

Thomas Jr. also spoke with Daily Mail recently and said that he sent his half-sister a Christmas card, but didn’t get any response from her. In the card, Thomas Jr. pleaded with Markle and Prince Harry to talk to Thomas Sr. and reach out to their family.

“I think everybody misses not being around some sort of family for Christmas, especially when it’s not something they’re really used to,” he said.

However, Markle still didn’t respond to her family’s pleas for the holidays.
