Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been keeping away from the spotlight since baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born, but they recently stepped out for a special event. Their appearance may have revealed Meghan’s push present.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left Archie at home as they attended the Trooping of the Colour. The event is a military celebration of the Sovereign’s birthday.

Part of the proceedings includes a parade with carriage rides for the royal family. While Queen Elizabeth II gets her own ride, Meghan and Harry rode along with Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles. It was during the parade that eagle-eyed fans noticed something different.

Meghan seems to be wearing a third ring alongside her engagement ring and wedding band. Many believe it’s an eternity band, a ring covered entirely in diamonds.

Royal watchers speculate that it could be a push present, a gift that people give to their partners after they birth a child. To sit alongside her Welsh gold wedding ring and her diamond engagement ring (which includes stones from Princess Diana’s collection), it must be pretty special.

A push present seems likely. After all, Prince William did the same for the Duchess of Cambridge. He reportedly bought her a diamond eternity ring from Annoushka after she gave birth to Prince George. He kept up the jewelry trend for push presents. The Duke of Cambridge is believed to have given his wife green tourmaline, green amethyst and diamond earrings after Charlotte’s birth.

Of course, it hasn’t been confirmed if this ring is actually Meghan’s push present. Others speculate that it may have been an anniversary present, another common time to give an eternity ring.
