Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding Makeup Was Inspired By This 'Incredible' Thing
On May 19, 2018 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom. The Duchess of Sussex wore a 16-foot-long veil and an off-the-shoulder Givenchy wedding dress. Makeup artist Daniel Martin says the royal didn't want to take away from her overall look, so she requested something that "made her look like her normal self." However, she found her beauty inspiration in an interesting place.
According to Us, Martin revealed on a recent episode of the "Gloss Angeles" podcast that the Duchess utilized Pinterest when it came to finding a look that satisfied what she had in mind.
"I didn't have a makeup trial with her because we couldn't make the time," he stated, adding, "I knew what she liked and didn't like. We exchanged a Pinterest pictures over text. But I think for anybody, Pinterest is an incredible tool to use as a reference."

"The dress is so architectural, if she had anymore makeup on, you wouldn't even look at the dress. And that's not what the moment is about," Martin also shared.
Luckily, the maekup artist said the day went smoothly even though they didn't have a trial run beforehand. "[Meghan's] the most chill person," he said, adding, "That morning was just easy. Nothing phased us."
