Meghan Markle’s ‘Self-Promotion’ Tendencies To Blame For Her Troubles, Royal Expert Says

Meghan Markle has been facing a lot of issues while awaiting her baby and she’s partly to blame for it.

Royal correspondent Camilla Tominey appeared on “This Morning” to talk about how the Duchess of Sussex is doing. According to Tominey, Markle has a certain element that’s causing her to get into trouble.

“Probably there is an element of the self promoter in her, you inject that into the royal family and there are two worlds colliding,” Tominey said.

Tominey stressed that there have been some “teething problems” due to the collision of these two worlds. The expert also addressed the resignation of Markle’s bodyguard. However, she maintained that Markle is not to blame for her aide’s resignation.

“Apparently this lady was leaving the Met, the whole of the police force, for ... personal reasons,” Tominey said. “So, to try and attribute it to some inner problem with Meghan I think is taking it too far.”

The netizens weren’t happy about the resignation of Markle’s bodyguard and they blamed the duchess for it on Twitter. One accused the pregnant royal of being fame hungry. Another user said that she couldn’t stand Markle who “thinks she’s the Queen.”

Prior to the resignation of Markle’s bodyguard, she already lost three aides in just six months after joining the royal family. Edward Lane Fox vacated his position as the couple’s private secretary and Samantha Cohen took over. However, Cohen also resigned after a few months. Many were surprised about Cohen’s resignation as she was one of the Queen’s most trusted aides.

Aside from the two, Markle’s personal assistant, Melissa Touabti, also decided to quit. Melissa was described as a talented person who played a big role in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding in May. She handled the controversies brought upon by Markle’s dad in the run-up of her nuptials.

It remains unknown why Melissa resigned. However, some believed that she put up with a lot while working with Markle. Royal insiders said that Melissa would be missed by everyone in the royal household

There were rumors that Markle was difficult to work with. She was even dubbed “Duchess Difficult.” However, Elle suggested otherwise. An insider spoke with the publication and denied it, saying that they love Markle’s enthusiasm to learn and that the pregnant royal is well-liked by her staff.
