Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Markle-Grant Makes Twitter Private Post-Prince Harry Controversy

Meghan Markle’s sister, Samantha Markle-Grant, has made her Twitter account private after she slammed Prince Harry for his comments about their family.

The 52-year-old shared her thoughts on Twitter and said that Prince Harry should read her book so he would know the truth about Markle and their family. Markle-Grant also said that the “Suits” actress grew up in two different households, which meant that she was surrounded by a lot of people that loved her.

However, the mom of three’s comments did not sit well with Markle and Prince Harry’s supporters. Some of them accused her of riding on her half-sister’s popularity. Other called her “opportunistic” because she has decided to release a book after it was confirmed that Markle was dating the prince.

Days after she received negative comments on Twitter, Markle-Grant decided to set her Twitter account on private. She has also not been accepting follow requests quickly, but her profile picture of herself with Markle remained the same.

But the recent change in her social media settings do not mean that Markle-Grant’s Twitter account or her life in general will be kept private for a long time.

Since she announced that she will be releasing the book, “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister,” fans and critics couldn’t wait to read her side of the story. In November, she also opened up about her relationship with her sister and said that she and Markle are in good terms.

She also said that she was misquoted by the tabloid that was why it appeared as though she and Markle were at odds with each other. “The tabloids really milk that for all it’s worth, so it created a divide between Meghan and I. We’re so normal,” she said (via the Evening Standard).

However, E! News reported that Markle and her half-sister were never really close because of their huge age gap. “Samantha Grant doesn’t have a relationship with Meghan Markle and she never has. As they were 17 years apart, they were never raised in the same house. Meghan was raised as an only child by her loving parents,” the source said.
