Meghan Markle’s Sister Says She’s Entitled To Speak About Duchess Of Sussex
Meghan Markle’s sister recently defended her decision to speak up about the Duchess of Sussex on national television.
During an interview with “Good Morning Britain” (via Express), Samantha Markle said that no one should criticize her for doing interviews because she is not subjected to royal protocol. “We’re not entitled to royal protocol. We’re entitled to share that and be open about it. If we can shed some light on issues for the public, that’s great, we can enjoy the process,” she said.
Samantha also talked about her decision to cash in on the royal by joining “Celebrity Big Brother.” During a previous interview, she said that it is her intention to cash in on her sister’s fame. While speaking with “Good Morning Britain” she defended her desire to do so.
“No one would turn down a paycheck. We all have to survive, money makes the world go around – if you want to call that cashing in. For someone to say you should turn down a paycheck… tell your boss that you don’t want a paycheck,” she said.
The controversial Markle sister also talked about the Duchess of Sussex and their dad Thomas Markle. She said that her biggest concern is for Markle to reconnect with Thomas.
“It’s very frustrating and I think moreover the concern is he really can’t calibrate how she is emotional, he truly is worried. To a degree, it is so critical and so unfair, if there’s a misunderstanding she should reach out to him and clarify. Life is very short. If something were to happen to him I don’t think anyone could live with the fact that there was no closure,” she explained.
Earlier this month, Samantha seemingly blamed Prince Harry for her sister’s decision to not reconnect with their family. On her personal Twitter account, Samantha wrote, “Harry is a wuss to allow the Duchess of Nonsense to mistreat everyone who has been close to her, especially her family.”
