Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, is blaming the "stress" from the duchess' rift with their father Thomas Markle for the deterioration of the family patriarch's health.

Days after the 77-year-old retired television lighting director was rushed to the hospital due to a stroke Monday, Samantha told TMZ that she thinks Thomas' health is failing due to the stress in his life from Meghan.

The 57-year-old author suggested that their father's stroke was a "byproduct" of the Duchess of Sussex's alleged refusal to reconnect and reconcile with Thomas and that he would not be in the hospital now if the former actress was a loving daughter, the report said.

Meghan has been estranged from her dad since he was caught staging paparazzi photographs ahead of her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

Currently, Thomas is experiencing mobility issues on his left side and is unable to move the muscles in his face after the stroke. In addition, he can barely use his left hand and is learning to speak again with the help of a physical therapist, according to Samantha.

The former lighting director previously said that he suffered two heart attacks right before Meghan and Prince Harry's 2018 nuptials. He ultimately had to cancel his attendance at his daughter's royal wedding as he was recovering from heart surgery.

Samantha said she believes her father's heart attacks were also related to stress from Meghan, according to TMZ.

She further claimed that they still haven't heard from her royal sister days after their dad's hospitalization. However, Samantha said that if Meghan still doesn't reach out to their father despite knowing he won't be alive for long, the duchess probably never will.

Samantha issued a stern warning to Meghan, saying that the duchess "better stay the f--- away from a funeral and not use it as a photo opportunity" if Thomas dies, TMZ reported.

Samantha said she is flying to California to visit their dad.

Meanwhile, Thomas, who has since left the hospital, recently thanked the doctors and nurses who helped him as well as everyone who reached out to him following his stroke.

"I feel hugely grateful and know how lucky I am to be alive. I want to thank everyone, especially the wonderful doctors and nurses who saved my life," he said in a statement exclusively obtained by Mirror. "I have been deeply moved by loving messages I’ve received from all over the world. I can’t speak right now, but I am working hard and will thank people properly when I can."

Thomas had planned to fly to the U.K. for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations next week. However, given his current condition, he was unable to make the trip.

"I wanted to come to pay my respects to the Queen. I wish her a happy Jubilee and many more years," he added in the statement written on a whiteboard.

Meghan and Prince Harry are set to bring their children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 11 months, to London for the Jubilee festivities, which will start on June 2.
