Meghan Markle’s Son Archie May Grow Up To Be ‘Rebellious,’ Won’t Have Relationship With Family

Meghan Markle’s son, Archie could face some hardships as he gets older because he doesn’t have a relationship with his relatives.

While speaking with Express, parenting expert Martina Mercer noted the fact that Archie is growing up estranged from the royal family and his mom’s side of the family. This means that he doesn’t even have a relationship with his cousins.

“Baby Archie in his formative years will know no different. He’ll grow accepting any situation as the norm. When he reaches his teenage years though he will see what he’s missed out on. Depending on his personality, he may feel a little robbed of the opportunity of being a part of the most famous family in the world,” Mercer said.

The parenting expert said that Archie’s personality will be impacted by the personalities of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“A lot of what lies in his future depends on how his parents live their lives over the next decade. It also depends on their honesty. If he finds conflicting stories he may be inclined to rebel just as any child would,” she said.

Earlier this year, royal author Katie Nicholl talked about Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to move to North America after their bombshell exit. She said that the royal couple’s son will be impacted by their decision.

“Harry grew up very close to his cousins. It was always his intention for his children to be close to William's children. And I think everyone's hoping that they can move on from this difficult period, but the warring behind them and actually allow for the royal cousins when they are together at least in the same country, to actually get to spend some quality time together,” Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight.

A tabloid also recently claimed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been asking about their cousin. And since they can’t see Archie at the moment, Kate Middleton simply shows her children their cousin’s photo.
