However, the first lady’s tweet was received with criticisms. In fact, some netizens couldn’t help but wonder how Melania and Donald Trump are spending their time together at the White House amid the pandemic.
“Right, I’m sure you’re just thrilled to be stuck inside with the orange one…” Twitter user @AndyOstroy said.
“She’s probably with her parents and son in their mansion in Potomac. She hasn’t touched the mushroom for years,” Twitter user @Brasilmagic said.
“She doesn’t live with him,” Twitter user @SpiderLily62 said.
“Pretty sure the White House is big enough to avoid Trump,” Twitter user @megan7oneill said.
“I’m sure Melania is and has been enjoying life with Barron and her parents in their Maryland home,” Twitter user @FemaleHumanist said.
“Huh? Perfect excuse to stay away from him for 18 months. Maybe 24, just to be totally safe,” Twitter user @bnf80 said.
“They not only don’t share a room, she made them set up her room on another floor,” Twitter user @mckrakenslair said.
“At least she doesn’t have to have sex with him anymore. I’m sure that was written out of the contract long ago,” Twitter user @Progressive_EE said.
Meanwhile, supporters of the FLOTUS couldn’t help but slam those who are being rude to her and the POTUS.
“Can we not be nice to each other during this stressful time… We all have the same color of blood right!! Our president is doing the best he can… If you have a better plan then bring it on and if not… hmm… You should zip it… And be respectful…,” Twitter user @DinoandBrenda said.
“Man, you’re mean. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all,” Twitter user @Penelop22157678 said.
