Melania Trump Greets Everyone A 'Safe And Happy Independence Day' On Twitter

Melania Trump broke her month-long silence on Twitter on Independence Day.

The former first lady returned to the micro-blogging site to share a message with everyone as the country celebrates Fourth of July. Trump shared a brief message on Twitter wishing everyone a "safe and happy" holiday.

"Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day!" she tweeted with the U.S. flag emoji.

Several commented on Trump's message with many saying they missed her. Many also thanked Trump for remembering them on Independence Day.

"What a great role model and beautiful first lady! By far the most graceful of all time. May you be blessed for all you have ensured and sacrificed for the American people. Happy independence day! You make America great," one commented.

"Thank you [Melania] for being such a wonderful first lady of the White House and we miss you and we miss Donald we really hope that you guys are able to come back and take control of this country and save our country and support all the true patriots and our military," a second user added.

Meanwhile, some said it was the best Independence Day because it's the first after the Trumps had left the White House.
