Melania Trump was recently mocked for not making it into Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women list.

During a recent discussion on “Fox & Friends,” one presenter said that women who are recognized for doing good things to other people should be included in the list.

“When we recognize women in leadership, let it be genuinely successful and really support other women,” the presenter said.

German Chancellor Angela Markel is at the top of Forbes’ list. Lagging closely behind her is Theresa May, the former prime minister of the United Kingdom. Other individuals who also landed on the list were Melinda Gates, the co-founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, and more.

On Twitter, the FLOTUS’ critics said that it was just right for her to not be included in the list.

“They thought Melania should be on the 100 Most Powerful Women list? Melania who?” Twitter user @farmerkelaine said.

“FLOTUS has done nothing for our country,” Twitter user @DeannaHarms said.

“Maybe that’s because someone should actually be expected to accomplish something tangible and of value to be named in the list?” Twitter user @Kate said.

Others also said that the FLOTUS cannot even stand up to her husband, President Donald Trump, so there’s absolutely no reason for her to be included in Forbes’ list.

“Melania doesn’t even hold any power in her own marriage and family. Did they want her to get a sympathy/participation vote?” Twitter user @MichelleM_73 said.

“You need to actually be influential to make a ‘most powerful women’ list. Ivanka and Melania can’t even stop their daddy husband from bullying teenage girls on Twitter, never mind violating his oath of office,” Twitter user @HNHughson said.

CNN reporter Brooke Baldwin also lashed out at the FLOTUS after she failed to condemn her husband for making fun of Greta Thunberg.

“I need to get this off my chest. At 16 years of age, she becomes the face of the climate change fight. She has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. She has the youngest person to win Time magazine’s Person of the Year. And at 16 she has been attacked by the POTUS. And Melania, she seems to be saying that if you’re a minor who stands up for what she believes is right, then that’s fair game to be personally attacked,” she said.
