Melania Trump met with schoolchildren during her recent trip to London.

The FLOTUS helped the students make Christmas decorations while at the Salvation Army center in east London. The youngsters also serenaded her with their beautiful voices.

However, the first lady actually received a slew of mixed reactions after her outing. While speaking with Sky News, some of the students that she met said that they still preferred former first lady Michelle Obama over Melania.

When asked if the kids thought the current FLOTUS was as good as Barack Obama’s wife, the kids said no due to a number of reasons. However, they didn’t elaborate on their cryptic responses.

One student told the interviewer that Melania looked sad during her trip to the Salvation Army, but she was actually very happy.

“I’m gonna be honest and say her makeup was a bit much,” one student said.

Another student couldn’t believe the FLOTUS’ revelation that she hasn’t tried eating a mince pie. “I was like what. At the White House, apparently, it’s quite boring at Christmas,” the student said.

One youngster said that she thought Melania looked like her husband at first glance because they both have blonde hair. One male student said that he isn’t the biggest fan of Melania and Donald.

“I don’t support him. I don’t support Donald Trump because I don’t like him,” the student said.

Other students called the FLOTUS beautiful, sweet, and pretty. And one student was delighted to know that her birthday is just one day after Melania’s special day.

“She was okay. I’ve never met the president so meeting the president’s wife was just crazy,” one student said.

Donald and Melania were in London for the NATO summit that was held at Buckingham Palace. Before the event, the Trumps first met up with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles at Clarence House. They also met up with Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

But it was the head of the state’s conversation at the NATO summit that shocked everyone. Cameras caught Princess Anne, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Johnson, and other officials making fun of the American president.

Following the release of the clip, the POTUS accused the Canadian prime minister of being two-faced.
