Melania Trump Reveals How She Found Out About POTUS' Real Intentions, Wasn't 'Starstruck'

Melania Trump and Donald Trump have been married for 15 years, and the beginning of their love story was unlike any other.

During the first lady’s previous interview with GQ, Melania recounted what it was like meeting the POTUS for the first time. The couple’s first encounter took place in 1998 at a party.

When Trump arrived at the bash, he was accompanied by a beautiful woman, and Melania saw they walk into the venue together. Minutes later, the FLOTUS caught the attention of the president, and he approached her.

The POTUS asked for Melania’s number, but she refused to give it to him. During the interview, the first lady explained why she didn’t give her husband her number immediately.

“If I give him my number, I’m just one of the women he calls,” she said.

Melania also said that she wanted to see what the POTUS’s real intentions were and which of his numbers he would give to her.

“It tells you a lot from the man what kind of number he gives you. He gave me all of his numbers,” she revealed.

The FLOTUS revealed that she didn’t immediately contact Trump after crossing paths with him at the party. In fact, she waited an entire week before she rang him up.

One of the reasons why Melania took her time before calling the POTUS is because she wasn’t starstruck with him.

“We had a great connection, we had great chemistry, but I was not starstruck. And maybe he noticed that,” she said.

Despite the couple’s huge age difference, the first lady reportedly found in Trump what she has always been looking for and it’s his power and protection. One of the FLOTUS’s old friends from Slovenia also revealed that Melania has always needed a strong man and a father figure.

Fast forward to the present day, Trump and Melania are still married, but no one can really say if they are still happy in their union. Some netizens are convinced that they are not because they are no longer affectionate with each other.
