Melania Trump shared some artworks from kids to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment.
The First Lady took to Twitter and thanked the children who participated in the 19th Amendment project. Her post also featured four different artworks that reflected the event.
"Thank you to all of the children who participated in our 19th Amendment project. Selecting the beautiful art that will be displayed at our event at the @WhiteHouse now - very hard to choose! #BeBest #BuildingTheMovementExhibit," she wrote in the caption.
Melania’s post received various reactions from the netizens. Several mocked the FLOTUS while others thanked her for her effort.
"Too bad the children locked in cages at the boarder can’t be doing fun things like this,” one commented.
“All these events you are doing now, too little too late.. they won’t help get him a second term. And it won’t get him to want to date you,” another added.
"Did the children in cages at the border get to participate?” a different netizen asked.
Many were also thankful for the First Lady’s effort. Some even defended Melania from those attacking her using her modeling career when she posed nude for a magazine.
"The past is the past. She never imagined at the time of this photo that she would be first lady. I admire her. She is magnifique ans brillante. it's your jealousy that speaks !!” JaimeMonPays commented.
"Mrs. Trump thank you for being the classy first lady that you are God bless you and your family and God bless America,” Rose added.
"I love our First Lady! I am so glad to have you and your husband in the White House right now," @beckyllopez80 wrote.
According to the White House, the artworks will be displayed alongside the images of women's suffrage parades, marches and gatherings.
“As we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, it’s important to include our children in the conversation so they can learn and understand the history behind the women’s suffrage movement,” Melania explained why the kids were involved in the project.
