On Monday, Melania and Donald Trump were spotted leaving the White House. The couple were set to fly to London to attend the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) summit and reunite with the royal family including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles and Kate Middleton to name a few. Prince William is away for an official visit to Kuwait and Oman, so the Duke of Cambridge will not be joining them.

A clip shows Camilla and Donald walking toward the Marine One on the White House Lawn. The first lady smiles and waves as she walks her way to the helicopter. The FLOTUS looked stunning in her all-black ensemble with a peacoat jacket and suede heeled boots, Daily Mail first reported.

It was raining but Melania didn’t fail to acknowledge the cameras. Meanwhile, the POTUS walked ahead of Melania but made a stop before he reached the helicopter to wait for his wife.

Donald and Melania also visited the British royal family back in June. Queen Elizabeth II hosted a state banquet for the president and first lady of the United States. The Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry were all in attendance for the event.

Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla and Kate all wore white gowns for the gathering. Melania also did the same. Normally, Middleton wears red or blue gown for such occasions but since she was wearing her Royal Victorian Order sash, she opted to wear white.

Meghan Markle was visibly missing at the event since the Duchess of Sussex was still on maternity leave at the time. Her husband was present to represent them.

However, many noticed that Prince Harry looked grumpy and rude at the event. Some event felt that the duke didn’t want to be there.

Markle and Trump had issues against each other. Trump denied calling Markle “nasty” a day before meeting the royal family. The former “Suits” star was an open critic of the POTUS and was very vocal about her dislike for him. Markle even said that Donald was “divisive” and a “misogynist.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will still not meet Donald and Melania at the NATO summit because they are currently in the United States for a six-week break from their royal duties.
