Melania Trump On Why Barron Is Not On Social Media; FLOTUS, Son ‘Close’

Melania Trump has a special relationship with her only son, Barron Trump.

During a 2011 interview with Mommy Helper, the FLOTUS revealed that she spends more time with her 13-year-old son that President Donald Trump does with him.

“I like to spend as much time as possible with him because children need your attention, they need to see that you are involved, and they really want their mommy there,” she said.

In 2005, the POTUS was interviewed by Larry King, where he gave an insight into his very hands-off approach as a father. At that time, the president and Melania have not yet tied the knot.

He said that he knows for sure he won’t be in charge of changing their baby’s diaper, and he won’t also be making his baby’s food. In fact, he might not even see their baby.

Years later, the FLOTUS revealed how her husband became consistent with what he previously said. While speaking with Parenting in 2017, the first lady said that she doesn’t have any problem with President Trump not changing Barron’s diaper.

“It is not important to me. It’s all about what works for you. It’s very important to know the person you’re with. And we know our roles,” she said.

Meanwhile, as Barron got older, Melania focused on him even more. The FLOTUS said that it has been her job to teach her son what’s right from what’s wrong.

During a town hall in Virginia, Melania said that Barron still doesn’t have a social media account simply because he’s not interested. At present, the teenager is still very much into sports.

The FLOTUS is also very protective of Barron. Just recently, she was spotted ushering her only child away from the crowd during their trip to a restaurant with the POTUS.

And when Nancy Pelosi mentioned Barron’s name during Trump’s impeachment hearing, Melania immediately slammed her on Twitter by saying that her son deserves privacy.
