  • Melania Trump's engagement ring is estimated at $3.5 million

Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump are oftentimes pitted against each other. And they are also compared in almost all aspects of their life.

Just recently, their engagement rings were also compared.

Years ago, President Donald Trump gifted his wife with a 15-carat D flawless emerald cut diamond engagement ring from Gaff. While speaking with Express, Tobias Kormind, the managing director of 77Diamonds.com, revealed that the engagement ring would retail for $3 million today.

The POTUS upgraded his wife’s ring when they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary to a 25-carat diamond accessory that was also from Gaff.

“That 10th-anniversary ring would today retail for $3.5m or £2.7m - it is significantly larger than Melania's original engagement ring but it is not D Flawless, which is the top and most coveted diamond quality in existence,” Kormind said.

Meanwhile, Jared Kushner gave Ivanka a 5.22-carat D flawless cushion cut diamond on a diamond-encrusted band on their engagement. The ring is estimated at over half a million. This means that Melania’s engagement ring is more expensive than Ivanka’s ring.

In related news, Melania and Ivanka once again made headlines this week after they shared their first tweets since the POTUS’s reported impeachment. The FLOTUS faced backlash after she made an announcement regarding the opioid crisis.

“You are so phony!” Twitter user @joewalt32356775 said.

“Oh, please. It’s a slogan. A catchphrase… and not even a smart-sounding catchphrase. This is an amazing program said no one ever,” Twitter user @LisainNJUSA wrote.

“I guess it took impeachment to get your rear in gear and actually do some work,” Twitter user @Valerie64190543 said.

Ivanka’s first tweet after her dad’s impeachment was announced revolved around how proud she is to have worked with the POTUS. And just like the first lady, she was also mocked for it.

“Ivanka loves to retweet old stuff to get herself a second round of praise,” Twitter user @jerseymom473 said.
