The Memphis Grizzlies will play host to the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, February 1 at the FedEx Forum in a battle of two teams looking to start a winning streak.

The Grizzlies and Blazers are coming off wins against the Indiana Pacers and the Atlanta Hawks.

But between the two teams, it means more to Memphis considering they are coming off a five-game losing streak.

In that breakthrough win against the Pacers, 100-112, Jared Jackson Jr. led the way with 28 points and eight rebounds.

However, it was the stellar all-around performance of Ja Morant that aided the Memphis win as he finished with a triple-double of 27 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds.

"We needed it," Morant said. "Obviously going through a terrible slump that we haven't been in in years, dropping five games on the road. That's not our identity. That's not us."

The Grizzlies are scoring 116.7 points per game and hold an offensive rating of 114.

Defensively, they may need to step up against the Blazers, who are known to be a good offensive team.

Memphis is allowing 112.3 points per contest with a defensive rating of 109.7.

For the Blazers, Damian Lillard continues to man the offense of the team.

Against the Hawks, Lillard exploded for 40 points while also grabbing eight rebounds and handing out seven assists.

Lillard also stressed the importance of controlling the rebounds after the game.

"You'd rather learn and keep talking about it in wins," Lillard stated. "We can keep having that conversation. We've got to box out better, hit somebody and limit these opportunities."

The Blazers are 17th in the league in team scoring with 114.1 points per match.

Moreover, Portland is holding opponents to 113.7 points per game with a defensive rating of 115.3.

The Grizzlies are -5.5 favorites to win over the Trail Blazers, who are at +5.5.

In addition, the moneyline set for the game is -215 for Memphis and +185 for Portland.

The game will have a live broadcast on both the NBA League Pass and fuboTV.
