The 2012 Costume Institute Gala was held Monday night at the New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Met Gala is often referred to as the fashion's Oscars.

The gala featured countless celebrities, including some of the biggest athletes in the world of professional sports.

Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire was in attendance, while being in the midst of a playoff series with the Heat. The Knicks are set to play Game 5 of their series in Miami on Wednesday night.

Newest Jets quarterback Tim Tebow was at the event. Tebow was at New York's rookie minicamp this past weekend.

There were also athletes who don't play in New York at the gala. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made an appearance with his wife, Gisesle Bundchen.
