The Met Gala 2014, the annual ball that kicks off the Metropolitan Museum of Art's yearly Costume Institute exhibit, is always a dazzling fashion parade.
This year's event -- held Monday evening in New York City with a theme in tribute to Charles James, the British fashion designer known as "America's First Couturier" -- had its share of best- and worst-dressed celebrities.
WORST DRESSED
Those on the worst-dressed list included Lena Dunham, who wore an unflattering strapless dress, while Kate Upton’s black sheer getup didn’t go down well. Lupita Nyong’o wore a feathered Prada dress with emerald jewels and a headband, which also turned out to be a disappointment from the usually exquisite young star. Others who made the "worst" list were Shailene Woodley, Elizabeth Olsen, Solange Knowles, Katie Holmes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kirsten Dunst and Lea Michele.
