There have been various reports that players of Pokémon Go have caught Mewtwo, one of the most powerful and rare pokémon in the game. Normally, most people find Rattatas, Pidgeys and Zubats, but a find like Mewtwo can turn the game around.

For those who haven’t come across Mewtwo yet, don’t be discouraged. It’s because the pocket monster isn’t in the game yet. The creature will be coming to Pokémon Go soon, Wired reported Monday. It will appear as Mew. In Pokelore, Mewtwo is the genetically altered clone version of Mew.

Word about Mewtwo coming to the game probably won’t be released until San Diego Comic Con, which starts Thursday. Niantic founder John Hanke, which will "examine the past, present and future of extending games beyond the screen and re-imagining reality through the lens of Ingress and Pokémon Go.”

Despite Mewtwo not being in the game yet, a player in Sydney Australia claimed he was attacked after catching the legendary pokémon. "They wanted to try and steal the phone [with the Mewtwo on it] and sell it," the gamer told BuzzFeed. “He knocked my phone out of my hand, I pushed him back and picked up my phone … while I did that he tried to get me again [but] he was blocked by a mate.”

The best way to find rare creatures is to download Poke Radar, Indian Express wrote. It’s a free app for iOS. It doesn’t show gyms or PokeStops, though. For that information, users can download Pokémon Go Maps Pro.
