Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley last week checked into a rehabilitation hospital in Houston to seek help for possible substance problems and psychological issues, according to multiple media reports Monday.

It is not known how long Beasley will remain in rehab or whether he will be available when the Heat open training camp on September 28.

Over the weekend eyebrows were raised over a picture that Beasley posted of himself on his twitter page in which Beasley is displaying a new tattoo across his shoulders.

That image also captured what appeared to be a small plastic bag on an adjacent table, the contents of which were unclear. This has left many people speculating on the bags contents.

Several comments, including Feelin like it's not worth livin!!!!!!! I'm done and I feel like the whole world is against me I can't win for losin - were posted on his Twitter feed.

Beasley has since closed his Twitter account.
