Free tickets for Michael Jackson's public memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles will be distributed randomly to people who begin registering on Friday July 3 from 1:00 p.m. EST to Saturday July 4, 9:000 p.m. EST on the Staples Center website.

The organizers will not secure a ticket for all registrants but will randomly distribute a maximum of two tickets per registrant totaling about 11,000 tickets for the memorial service at Staples Center and 6,500 tickets for a simulcast inside Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

Tickets are just being offered to residents of the U.S.

Michael Jackson's public memorial service will kick off on July 7, at 1:00 p.m. EST. in the Staples Center.
