The family of Michael Jackson was speechless and devastated about the sudden death of the singer who at age 50 died from cardiac arrest in a Los Angeles hospital.

We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words, the Jackson family expressed in a statement released today, according to People Magazine.

Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever, the statement read.

Meanwhile, the family requested a second autopsy to Michael's body on Saturday to determine a cause of death because it couldn't be determined after the first autopsy, Rev. Jesse Jackson told the Associated Press. Officials are awaiting the results of toxicology reports which may take weeks.
