Michael Jackson’s doctor worked for free: report
Michael Jackson's personal doctor, Conrad Murray, claims he never received any payment during the time he served as the singer's personal physician, abcNEWS reported citing an unnamed source familiar with the agreement.
Dr Murray administered the powerful anesthetic propofol to the King of Pop just hours before he died and officials believe this injection is what may have ultimately caused Jackson's death.
Murray was set to accompany Jackson on his London tour. Dr Murray and the concert promoter AEG were in talks over his salary but no agreement was reached before Jackson's death.
According to AEG spokesman, Murray was Michael Jackson's personal physician for three years and Jackson had requested Murray be hired. Discussions were pending for a completed contract.
