Michelle Obama and Barack Obama tried to not embarrass their daughter Sasha.

The former first lady of the United States is enduring the sadness and emptiness of living without her daughters Malia and Sasha. Michelle appeared on the “Today” show and talked about the time when she, Barack and Malia dropped Sasha off at college. Jenna Bush Hager asked the FLOTUS if there were tears when it happened.

“There were. We were really good about it, you know, we didn't want to embarrass her because she had roommates,” Michelle recalled.

“When we got into a car ... and then Sasha drove off on her own and said that last goodbye, that’s when we were like (crying noises).”

Michelle primarily made an appearance on the show to talk about her trip to Vietnam to raise awareness for girls’ education. She also opened up how parenting and letting go of growing children hit her.

Michelle admitted that she was excited for her girls to grow up and become independent. However, she was also sad that they will never remain the little ones who would sit on her lap and listen to her every word while looking at her adoringly.

On Thanksgiving, Michelle shared a sweet family photo to celebrate the holiday. The Obama supporters were delighted to see Michelle’s post because they already missed the former first family.

Many described Michelle and Obama’s family beautiful and gorgeous. Some also praised them for what they did when Barack was still the president.

In related news, David Krayden, Ottawa Bureau Chief for the Daily Caller, is positive that the Obamas are “making another bid for power.” He believes that chances are high that Michelle will run for president despite her past statements saying that there is “zero chance” she will ever run for office.

Krayden pointed out Barack’s decision to not endorse any presidential candidate including Joe Biden who served with him for eight years. He believes that this is because his will be endorsing his wife.

Tucker Carlson also believes that Michelle will eventually join the presidential race. He said that he was saw signs that Michelle was not telling the truth when she said that she was not interested in running for president.
