Democratic nominee Joe Biden and President Donald Trump are competing for the valuable Rust Belt states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The three states were all won by Trump in 2016 and are crucial to both candidates in 2020, but all three states are too close to call in the late hours of Tuesday.

Here’s a look at the early voting figures in the states, although mail-in ballots, which skew Democratic, are still being counted.

In Michigan, Trump leads Biden as of 11:05 p.m. ET, 54.6% to 43.5%, with 40% of the estimated votes reported. Much of the vote in Michigan’s most populated counties, such as Wayne County and Oakland County in the metro Detroit area, is still coming in.

In Pennsylvania, Trump leads Biden 56.6% to 42%, with 42% of the estimated vote reported. Much of the vote in Philadelphia and its suburbs is still outstanding, which could ultimately tilt the state to Biden.

Officials in Pennsylvania may take until Friday to count all the mail-in ballots, which would likely favor Biden.

In Wisconsin, Trump is leading Biden 50.7% to 47.6%, with 45% of the estimated vote reported. Much of the vote in Democratic stronghold Milwaukee is still outstanding and may take until 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday to fully report.

Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have a combined total of 46 electoral votes.
