KEY POINTS

- The attraction features a ride with Goofy, Minnie and Mickey Mouse
- The new ride resembles that of the Great Movie Ride
Disney has been busy these past few months. They cashed in on the opening of the "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" ride, which stole the entertainment headlines of 2019.
According to The Points Guy, Disney World is starting 2020 off with a classic ride. There had been various rides that made their name in the minds of visitors in both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Central Florida. One ride remained out of the public's consciousness, one which had Mickey and Minnie as the main attraction. On March 4, however, things are about to change in favor of the Mouse couple with Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway.
The new ride, according to those who tried it out during its launch, resembles that of the Great Movie Ride, which had been a popular attraction for many visitors until it closed in 2017. It is inside the Chinese Theater, a central location in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many visitors will love that the essence of the Chinese theater remained the same.
The attraction features a ride with Goofy, Minnie and Mickey Mouse on board a train. The ride starts with a classic cartoon featuring the Mouse couple, and Goofy quickly takes control, breaking the fourth wall to invite the audience to ride on the train.
The ride itself uses technology that has already been seen in the Ride of the Resistance and Ratatouille rides — a dark, trackless experience that is as friendly to kids as it is to adults.
Visitors might as well try the ride out when visiting the Disney Hollywood Studios. While the Mickey and Minnie ride is a first, the true attractions here are the Star Wars-themed rides as well as the Toy Story immersive experience. The Rock 'n Roller Coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower offer similarly high octane experiences.
