Microsoft Lumia 850: Leaked Photos And Fan-Made Renders Show A Sleek, Super-Thin, Metallic Design
Following the recent leak, a slew of live photos and fan-made renders show what to expect from the heavily-rumored, high-end Microsoft Lumia 850.
The Lumia 850 is one of the Windows 10 Mobile powered devices earmarked for 2016. The other two speculated devices are the entry-level Lumia 650 and the secretly guarded Surface Phone.
The freshly leaked images from Weibo show a copper-colored metallic frame running through the corners of the handset. This leak puts an end to the rumors pointing to a completely plastic Lumia 850. The photos also show well-rounded edges.
GSM Arena, meanwhile, noted that a repositioned microUSB 2.0 connector can be seen at the top of the handset and a 3.5 mm headphone jack has been located at the bottom.
Upon observing carefully, Microsoft has seemingly removed the traditional capacitive keys located beneath the display. Plus, the physical shutter button can no more be seen.
Not long ago, a report from China said that the Lumia 850 will come in four color combinations. To be specific, the front and back panels will apparently be either white or black, accented with a combination of copper, gold, rose gold and steel frames.
The Lumia 850 with white panels will reportedly get gold or rose gold accents. The black Lumia model, on the other hand, will come with copper-hued sides or a steel accompaniment.
Moving on to the rumored configurations, the Lumia 850 is believed to flaunt a huge 5.7-inch display, bundled with a Full HD screen resolution. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 chipset will apparently power the device.
