Microsoft will be releasing up to 10 updates for Windows 7 Release Candidate software this week but the release do not add any updates for users using the new O.S.

Starting this Tuesday (May 12, 2009) we will release up to ten test updates to PCs running the Windows 7 RC, wrote Brandon LeBlanc, Microsoft's in-house Windows blogger, in a post.

The release is part of Microsoft's ongoing test for the new OS that will give more accuracy to the updating ability of the OS. LeBlanc explains that the test should be done in order to verify our ability to deliver and manage updating of Windows 7 in certain real-life scenarios.

Though the updates will be up to ten counts, the updates is purely a blank and adds nothing to the OS These updates do not deliver any new features or fixes, LeBlanc wrote.

Previously, Microsoft also dispatched a series of test updates to Windows 7 users on Feb. 24. The firms hopes that new OS will be seen as an improvement over Vista, and has included a number of new features designed to appeal to enterprise users.
