Microsoft release Windows 7, sent 3,000 layoffs
Microsoft Inc, which just releases its Windows 7 software, sees more cut job and layoff, according to the CNET report.
Recently, the company reported it would slashed 5,000 job as part of the cost cuts plan, has seen notices of 3,000 layoffs to its current employees, which already cut 1,400 job cuts.
As we move forward, we will continue to closely monitor the impact of the economic downturn on the company and if necessary, take further actions on our cost structure including additional job eliminations, Steve Ballmer said in a statement to CNET News.
Meanwhile, shares of Microsoft fell 52 cents to 2.58 percent at $19.67 in the NASDAQ trading.
