Microsoft Surface Pro 3, Surface 3 Price Cut By 10% In UK, Ahead of Surface Pro 4 Release
As the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date nears, more discounts and promotional deals are being offered on the current-generation slates. The Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 can now be had with a significant discount of 10 percent in the UK.
Customers in the UK can get the Microsoft Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3 discount deals by placing an order via the PC World retail store. In addition to the tablets, the discount applies to the Surface 3/Surface Pro 3 tablet bundle as well. This means if a buyer purchases the Surface Pro 3, featuring Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage capacity, along with Type Cover and Docking Station, he will have to shell out just £899.10 for the whole bundle. The actual price of the bundle is £999 in PC World. All such items bundled together will set the buyers back by £1100+ in the Microsoft Store, according to WinBeta.
In general, the original price of the Surface 3 ranges from £419 to £499 in PC world and therefore, buyers can save up to £49.90 with the discount. On the other hand, the price of the Surface Pro 3 ranges from £639 to £1,408. Here, buyers can save in £63.90 up to £140.80, notes Yibada. To get the discount deal, potential buyers must enter the promo code "MIC10" at the time of checkout in PC World. This promotion deal ends on July 31.
As for the Surface Pro 4, according to Tech Times, this tablet will be released sometime in October with the new Windows 10 on board. The device will flaunt a huge 12-inch display and 2,160 x 1,440 pixels resolution. There will be no changes to the bezel configuration as seen in the predecessor Pro 3. The device is believed to be powered by Intel's new Skylake processor and backed by up to 16 GB of RAM.
For memory, apart from the usual options of 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB and 500 GB seen in the Surface Pro 3, Microsoft will launch a 1 TB version of the Surface Pro 4. Microsoft has not confirmed the Surface Pro 4 specifications or features thus far.
