Mike Stone, 18, from Minnesota, could be the envy of his guy friends when he attends prom this year after using Twitter to get porn star Megan Piper as his prom date.

If this sounds like a Hollywood movie to you, then think of the 2004 movie The Girl Next Door happening in real life.

Stone had to work hard since last month to get Piper as his prom date, as it took him sending out more than 600 tweets to various celebrities, according to the Daily Dot. former porn star Jenna Jameson was also on his list.

Finally on March 17, Stone got a response from Piper that read, @madmike42948 If you can get me there, then yes. :)

Now all Stone, a senior, has to do is buy a ticket to get the porn star from Los Angeles to Oakdale, Minn., so she can attend his prom at Tartan High School.

He told Piper on Twitter, I don't have money though for a plane ticket and he is now asking for help from Twitter to raise the funds.

Stone told the Daily Dot that he wanted to do something new. And of course, his parents don't know that he was on Twitter asking porn stars to the prom.

I was like, let's try it out and see if it works, Stone told the Daily Dot. I just think they're really cute and I wish I had one for a prom date.

So does Stone have a backup plan if he doesn't come up with funds to fly Piper to Minnesota? You bet he does.

One of the teachers who works at my school is a security guard, he told the website. He was telling me, if I brought a girl from a different school or anything, he would help me out and let them in for free.
