  • Mike Tyson's return fight odds against Evander Holyfield and former UFC fighter have been released
  • Tyson got even with Holyfield
  • BKFC stars Shannon Briggs and Bobby Gunn both slightly favorite against Tyson

The latest odds for Mike Tyson's return match against possible opponents such as his heavyweight rival Evander Holyfield and a former UFC fighter have been revealed.

Tyson has been preparing for his epic boxing return. Though “Iron Mike” has made it clear that he would only like to participate in an exhibition match, some of his past opponents in professional boxing emerged as possible matchups. This includes Tyson’s nemesis Holyfield, who also announced that he’s back shortly after “The Baddest Man on the Planet” posted a short training clip declaring his return.

Pundits certainly believe that the level of interest would shoot up immediately if Tyson will face a rival who has beaten him in the past. In fact, prior to Holyfield, the U.K.’s Danny Williams, one of the last two boxers who defeated Tyson, was first touted as an ideal comeback opponent.

David Feldman, president of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), also joined the hype and offered Tyson $20 million to fight in their promotion. One of the names mentioned as his possible opponent were former boxing champ Shannon Briggs and former UFC fighter Hector Lombard.

Just recently, The Score released possible matchup odds for Tyson’s return. Surprisingly, the odds show that BKFC star Bobby Gunn and Briggs were both slightly the favorite to win against Tyson. Holyfield got even while Lombard was underdog.

Recent report states that Tyson vs. Holyfield 3 could be negotiated by some promoters who are always open to making historic fights.

Meanwhile, contrary to what many believe in, veteran boxing trainer and manager Henry Ramirez recently explained why he thinks Tyson can’t beat any current heavyweight despite his promising return. According to Ramirez, he doesn’t think a man who has not been working out for a decade and a half can be competitive in a professional level.

“Mike Tyson was a show of himself 14 years ago. He’s not gonna get better not having done anything for 14 years trust me,” Ramirez predicted.

“Can Mike Tyson still look good on the mitts? Absolutely! Can he still have power? Absolutely! But to put the grind and to get ready for a fight in 8 to 10 week camp, I just don’t see a guy who can do that after 14 years of just relaxing and just enjoying life,” Ramirez added.
