  • Triller CEO Ryan Kavanaugh said Mike Tyson has been offered a "massive payday" for a fight with Evander Holyfield
  • Kavanaugh claimed he has been told Tyson is ducking Holyfield
  • Tyson said he wants to fight Lennox Lewis next

Triller boss Ryan Kavanaugh has made a bold claim about the talked about potential trilogy fight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.

Boxing fans have been yearning to see Tyson and Holyfield take on each other once again inside the ring. There has been a mutual interest from both legendary boxers, but a deal has yet to be done.

Lifting the lid on the subject, Triller executive Kavanaugh exclusively told Sky Sports that Tyson has been busy working on a fight against his other former rival Lennox Lewis. As for Holyfield, Kavanaugh insisted that they have already reached out to Tyson about a trilogy bout, but “Iron Mike” has been ducking “The Real Deal.”

“We have an offer out to Mike [Tyson],” Kavanaugh revealed. “We know he is trying to stage a fight with Lennox Lewis. We have been told that he is scared to fight Evander [Holyfield]. There has been back and forth hoopla, there is a massive payday ready for Mike to fight on Thanksgiving. A massive payday, one of his biggest! But we can't seem to push it along.”

"Now I have heard, from a number of reliable sources, that Mike is too scared,” he claimed. “He thinks Evander would knock him out."

Despite having an ongoing issue with Triller regarding some legal matters, Holyfield, who is now slated to fight ex-UFC star Vitor Belfort, is eager to make one final run before calling it a career.

“I’ve been training hard for months and it looks like another cancellation,” Holyfield wrote on Instagram. “That doesn’t stop my determination or what God has planned for me.”

“No matter who I fight or who the promoter is in the future, I promise my fans I will step back in the ring at least one more time before I lay my gloves to rest for good. I thank my fans for always standing by me no matter what,” the 58-year-old continued.

Tyson, on the other hand, had earlier sworn that he could “wrap” up his career and live in peace after he’s done doing exhibition matches against Holyfield, Lewis and Tyson Fury.

However, it appears that the 54-year-old had a sudden change of heart as he recently bared that he is now eyeing a match with Lewis before “probably” considering Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

“I just want to get the exhibition over Lennox Lewis and probably my next one will be with [Anthony] Joshua or Tyson [Fury],” Tyson said on the “Sit Down" podcast
