Mike Tyson recently shared his thoughts about fighting in the UFC.

After Tyson officially retired from boxing several years ago, he was once linked to MMA. With his exceptional boxing skills and terrifying power, Tyson was perceived to do well in MMA particularly, in the UFC.

However, for some reason, the idea of a world-class heavyweight boxing champion entering the UFC did not materialized. And now, Tyson has already reached the age where it is quite impossible for him to compete at a professional level in any combat sports. But apparently, fans are still curious to know Tyson’s real thoughts are about fighting in the UFC.

In a recent video uploaded by GQ Sports, Tyson went undercover and responded to random questions from fans. One of the most notable queries was “how would Mike Tyson do in the UFC?”

The former heavyweight champ was quick to respond and typed in his honest answer. According to Tyson, he has no idea of what he can do inside the cage but he is quite sure that if someone steps on his feet, he will quickly tap out.

“I don’t know what I would do in the UFC, because I watched the UFC a couple of times, and I watched these guys step on people’s feet. And I have the worst feet in the world. And if somebody steps on my feet, I would totally tap out. I would just give up it would be a no-brainer,” Tyson admitted.

Even though UFC fans might never see Tyson fight inside the octagon, it seems like there’s a slight chance that Tyson could still make an MMA appearance. However, only as a trainer of a returning MMA legend and former UFC champ Rashad Evans.

A few days ago, Tyson and Evans had a brief talk with the media people after an NFL game. In the said media scrum, Tyson can be seen teaching Evans some strategies in boxing. Evans posted the short video in his official Facebook page and revealed what Tyson was trying to teach him.

According to Evans, he was trying to learn the so-called “Peek-a-boo” boxing style, a style in which Tyson apparently had been known for during in his prime. Tyson can also be seen trying to incorporate the boxing style in MMA as he demonstrated a combination which included a “leg kick” in front of Evans.

“Mike Tyson is the Master at "Peekaboo" boxing style. Mike's former trainer the late Great "Cus" D'Amato made up the style,” Evans wrote.
