Miles Teller Spotted With Girlfriend Keleigh Sperry After Controversial Arrest For ‘Being Intoxicated’
Just two days after getting arrested in San Diego, Miles Teller was spotted with girlfriend Keleigh Sperry in Studio City. The lovers reportedly went out on a casual date, with the Hollywood actor appearing unfazed by the controversy.
On Tuesday, the 30-year-old “Whiplash” actor and his 24-year-old girlfriend were photographed out and about in the Los Angeles neighborhood by Us Weekly. Teller was seen sporting a yellow Lakers T-shirt, black jeans, a white cap and sunglasses at the time. On the other hand, Sperry wore a black shirt and a pair of blue jeans while holding a black jacket and her phone in her hands.
Teller and Perry, who have been exclusively dating since 2013, were spotted by the publication while they were strolling the L.A. streets. Apart from walking around while chatting, the couple later on decided to eat at a restaurant nearby.

This is the first public sighting of Teller since news broke that he got detained last Sunday at around 12:25 a.m. for showing “symptoms of being intoxicated from alcohol [and] slurring his speech, swaying from side to side” during a party with a group of friends.
The San Diego Police Department told the media that Teller was supposed to be taken to a detox facility, but because of his uncooperative behavior, he was put in jail instead. “Upon arrival at the detox center, Teller was uncooperative with staff and police took him to the jail and arrested him,” their statement said.
The actor was released four hours later.
Teller has since voiced out his side of the story on Twitter. He revealed that he was in San Diego to see a friend before the latter’s deployment. He then clarified that he was not arrested and was only detained because the police did not find evidence to charge him with a crime.
The “Divergent” star then put out a message for his fans. “Don’t believe everything you read, especially from a third party entertainment news source trying to get clicks. Appreciate the concern,” he tweeted.
Ironically, Teller is currently preparing for the release of his new movie “Thank You For Your Service,” in which he plays a soldier. The trailer for the film is already out, and it reveals that Teller’s character is suffering PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder after returning from combat. The Jason Hall-directed film is hitting cinemas on Oct. 27, according to A.V. Club.
