Miley Cyrus got candid about her life amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The “Malibu” singer admitted that even if she is also on lockdown, her experience is different from most people. Cyrus acknowledged that celebrities are privileged and she, herself, doesn’t really understand the real effect of COVID-19.

“I know I'm in a unique position, and my experience with this pandemic is not like most everyone else's in my country and around the world,” Cyrus told Wall Street Journal.

“My life has been pushed pause on, but really I have no idea what this pandemic is like ... I am comfortable in my space and able to put food on my table and [I am] financially stable, and that's just not the story for a lot of people.”

During the lockdown, the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker launched an Instagram Live Show, "Bright Minded." It is her way of connecting to her celebrity friends and fans who are stuck at home just like her.

Cyrus shared that she reached out to several A-list celebrities and many didn’t respond. She believed that privilege played a part in their decision not to appear on her show.

Cyrus understood that some of them felt the way she does. She admitted that it didn’t feel right to talk about it which was why some declined to appear on the show.

“I'm sure a lot of the hesitation for other people saying yes to doing the show is because it almost doesn't feel right for celebrities to share our experience. Because it just doesn't compare,” the performer added.

Although her quarantine experience is not as difficult as it is for most people, “The Climb” singer shared some of her experiences that everyone could relate to.

“I'm in my sweatpants and a top knot, just like everyone else, I've only washed my hair twice for the show: once for Elton John and once for Sen. [Elizabeth] Warren,” Cyrus said.

In April, Cyrus and her boyfriend Cody Simpson were spotted in Los Angeles for a coffee date. The “Party in the U.S.A.” singer was wearing a Gucci face mask, RED/DONE t-shirt, camouflage pants and rugged black boots.

Cyrus and Simpson have been isolating together. In a previous interview, Simpson hinted that he was ready to start a family with Cyrus.
