Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are friends once again. The two celebrities appeared together for a live chat on Instagram, and the video has been released online. The two celebrities have had an on-off friendship, but in the video they talked about how they supported each other even when they were not in contact.

The coronavirus has forced many people, including celebrities, to remain indoors to stop the spread. However, Cyrus is keeping herself active and she is engaging with her fans with her afternoon talk show “Bright Minded: Live With Miley” that airs every week on Instagram.

Lovato was a guest on the recently aired episode of the show, People reported. The two stars reconnected in the live chat and spoke about their friendship.

One of the issues they discussed was body image. Cyrus revealed how she stopped wearing skirts on stage after her 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke because of the way she was body shammed. The “Slide Away” singer said that people started comparing her to a turkey at that time to show how skinny she was. This made the singer so body conscious that she stopped wearing bikinis for two years.

Lovato said that she had no idea Cyrus went through all that pain at that time and she said she wished she could have been there for her friend. The actress told Cyrus to call her if anything like that ever happens again.

The other issue they discussed was the stress that comes from quarantine that many people across the country are facing, Entertainment Weekly reported. The live chat is intended to send some positivity.

Lovato also shared some tips with her fans to deal with the news about the coronavirus COVID-19, E! News reported. The actress asked everyone to take up breathing exercises and communicate with friends.
