Miley Cyrus has a few choice words for Katy Perry, after the pop singer opened up about a kiss she shared with Cyrus during her Bangerz tour. Perry pulled away from the 20-year-old after a few seconds, and revealed why earlier this week on Australian show "Sunrise."

“I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away,” Perry explained. "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!”

Cyrus responded on Thursday, tweeting, “Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT (?) been [sic].” Cyrus is referring to John Mayer, whom Perry recently broke up with. After a number of breakups and makeups, Perry and Mayer were thought to be on the road to engagement. Last month, Perry even flaunted a ring on her engagement finger. Perry, 29, began dating Mayer, 36, during the summer of 2012.

After their second split in April, Mayer, who has previously dated Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift, told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, “It was a very private relationship going in, it was a private relationship during, and it’s a very private relationship still. Coupling is a tricky thing.”

Perry confirmed at the time in Vogue that the relationship had run its course. “It's over. ... I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”

But they decided to give love another chance months later. Unfortunately it was not meant to be and this is the third time Perry and Mayer have called their relationship quits.
