Miley Cyrus has a new tattoo, and dad Billy Ray Cyrus is so happy about it that the country singer shared a snap of his daughter’s newest ink on social media. The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker got the new ink just days after she and fiancé Liam Hemsworth were spotted in Los Angeles.

On Saturday, Billy Ray took to Instagram to share a snap of his second daughter’s new ink. In the photo, Miley’s right foot is perched on her left knee so the tattoo of the word “DAD” on her instep is visible to the camera. Billy Ray admitted in the caption that he is happy about the indelible skin design, saying, “This may be the best tattoo I’ve ever seen.”

Many fans were pleased with Cyrus’ gesture to honor her father. One fan wrote: “Love the two of you and your relationship as dad and daughter is beautiful.” Another commented: “Awwww Miley is amazing. This is art. You are such a good dad.”

Apparently, Hemsworth has not posted anything on the photo-sharing platform for three weeks now. On the other hand, Cyrus, who previously updated her fans regularly, has not shared anything on Instagram for two weeks already. In the wake of their social media absence, many claimed that they had secretly tied the knot.

The rumors were further fueled by Billy Ray’s Instagram post of his daughter donning a white boho chic dress. Fans, as well as several publications, quickly jumped to the conclusion that the “Last Song” co-stars may have exchanged their wedding vows in secret. However, Billy Ray addressed the issue by asking people to not “jump the gun” just because he posted the pic of the “We Can’t Stop” singer. Even Cyrus’ manager and her younger sister Noah have debunked the rumors, insisting that she is “not married.”
