Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth seemingly confirmed their marriage on Wednesday, and “The Last Song” author Nicholas Sparks sent his congratulations to the couple.

On Wednesday afternoon, Cyrus posted photos of her in a white dress while Hemsworth hugged her. “10 years later…” she wrote in the caption on Twitter.

Sparks retweeted with a comment. “This makes me so happy. Congratulations @MileyCyrus and @LiamHemsworth. #TheLastSong,” he wrote.

Hemsworth and Cyrus met while filming the adaptation of Sparks’ novel. The movie, released in 2010, filmed in summer of 2009 in Tybee Island, Georgia. The movie featured a 16-year-old Cyrus playing a troubled teen who goes to live with her dad for the summer. While there, she falls for a local, played by 19-year-old Hemsworth.

Though the movie was panned by critics, it clearly worked out for Cyrus and Hemsworth. They’ve been in an on-and-off relationship for nearly a decade, and now it seems like they’ve finally tied the knot.

Photos from a party with Cyrus and Hemsworth over the weekend hinted that they had a wedding. Miley was in white, they were cutting a cake together, Mr and Mrs. balloons were hanging in the background and siblings from both the Hemsworth and Cyrus families were there. Though neither has officially responded to reports, Cyrus posting her own photos from the event of her in a white dress and sharing an emotional embrace with Hemsworth seems to suggest that they got married.
